Glimpse MCP server
Give your AI agent your transcripts. It can search your Library, follow a recording as it happens and transcribe files, all on your computer. Requires a purchased license.
Install the CLI in Glimpse: Settings, About, Install CLI. Then:

Permissions and privacy
The server can't edit or delete anything in your Library.
Add --allow-import after mcp to let an agent queue files.
If your agent uses a cloud model, that model sees what the agent reads.
The Record screen shows when an agent is following a recording.
Search and read work without it. Transcribing opens it, and following needs a recording.
Troubleshooting
command not found, ENOENTApps opened from the Dock or Start menu may not see ~/.local/bin. Use the full path as the command, like /Users/YOU/.local/bin/glimpse.
Restart your client after changing its config.
Using it from scripts instead? See the CLI guide.
