Glimpse for Raycast

Search your dictations, transcribe files, switch speech models, and run the local API without leaving Raycast. Everything goes through the Glimpse CLI on your own machine.

What it does

• Search Transcriptions. Search your dictation history and copy or paste any result.
• Copy Last Dictation, Paste Last Dictation. Grab the most recent one without opening the app.
• Transcribe File. Copy the transcript of any audio or video file, or add it to your Library.
• Transcribe Selected File. Transcribe whatever you have selected in Finder.
• Browse Library. Read your transcripts and export them as TXT, Markdown, SRT, or VTT.
• Switch Speech Model. Change your active model, downloading it first if you need to.
• Add Dictionary Word, Manage Dictionary. Add a word in one keystroke, or edit the whole list.
• Local API. Start and stop the local OpenAI-compatible endpoint with a model, port, and key.

Setting it up

1. Install Glimpse and activate your license.
2. Open Settings, About, and click Install CLI.
3. Install the extension from the Raycast store.

The extension finds the CLI on its own. It is macOS only for now.
